LIVING STONES

1. The "Hospitality & Growth Stone" Creating an oasis of refreshment and a welcoming spirit for our neighbors.

The Greeter/Usher (Membership & Growth/Worship): I love meeting new people, following up with visitors, and making everyone feel at home.

The Hydration/Hunger Hero (Mission): I can help staff our sidewalk with water or participate in local outreach projects such as Meals on Wheels and Nourish NC. I am interested in helping host groups at our Matthew House.

The Prayer Warrior (Congregational Care): I am comfortable visiting the homebound, delivering flowers, sending cards, or offering prayer to those in a "storm."

2. The "Functional Stone" The steady hands that keep the structure sound and the light burning bright.

The Builder (Property): I have skills in carpentry, plumbing, or general "handyman" fixes for our historic building.

The Tech Beacon (Communications): I can help with sound, video streaming, or maintaining our digital presence through the website and social media.

The Steward (Finance): I have a gift for organization, budgeting, numbers, or long-term financial planning.

The Navigator (Personnel & Planning): I enjoy leadership, vision-casting, and helping manage our staff and volunteer resources.

3. The "Beautiful Stone" Reflecting the light of Christ through creativity, tradition, and environment.

The Artist (Worship/Communications): I can help with banners, seasonal decor, or graphic design for church materials.

The Gardener (Property): I have a green thumb for our "Sea Oat" grounds and keeping our chapel property beautiful.

The Musician (Worship): I have a musical gift (vocal or instrumental) I'd like to share during services.

4. The "Nurturing Stone" Feeding the soul and the mind of our community.

The Teacher (Christian Education): I enjoy leading Bible studies, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School or youth/adult formation programs.

The Host (Food & Fellowship): I love organizing potlucks, coffee hours, and special events that bring the "family" together.

5. The "Hidden Stone" (Your Secret Talent) What is a skill or passion you have that we might not know about? (Examples: Photography, baking, event planning, social media, storytelling, professional networking, etc.)

Time & Talent 2026: Discovering Your "Stone" Theme: “Like living stones, let yourselves be built into a spiritual house.” (1 Peter 2:5) Little Chapel is a lighthouse on the boardwalk — a beacon of hope and a place of rescue.
