Clergy & Staff

The Rev. Caroline A. Jinkins has served as Pastor since 2024. She was raised in Charlotte, NC and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Princeton Theological Seminary. She has served congregations in Virginia, Georgia, and New Jersey. Caroline enjoys helping people see where God is at work in the world. Caroline preaches and leads both worship services weekly, manages the staff, moderates the Session, guides committees, and cares for the congregational needs.

The Rev. Dr. Phil Gladden has served as Parish Associate for Visitation since August 2026. He is a graduate of Davidson College and Union Theological Seminary. He has served congregations in Rocky Mount, Roanoke Rapids, Littleton, and Wallace, NC. Phil focuses on spiritual support, visitation, worship leadership, and relationship building.

At Little Chapel on the Boardwalk, our staff is much more than a team; they are the heartbeat of our community. With a shared passion for service and a deep commitment to bringing people together, each member plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Our dedicated administrative personnel ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, every staff member contributes uniquely to our mission. Delores is the face of the front office and handles all the administration of the church. Kira leads our Traditional Music program including the Chancel choir, Hand Bell choirs, and plays the organ and piano for our 10:30am service. Marissa leads music at Arise and the beach service as well as sings in our chancel choir. Susan keeps the books and handles the financials. Shawn keeps the facilities and grounds in tip top shape. Jai manages the sound system at both worship services and live-streams the traditional service. We also have a professional nursery with Delores and Julia greeting young children each Sunday!
